However, Brody becomes tired of fighting with Finn, especially after Simone hurt Rachel prior to her audition. He is able to put his pride aside and help Finn cheer Rachel up, which results in the two of them slowly becoming friends.
He is also somewhat of a romantic at heart; he enjoys reading Nicholas Sparks novels, and was caught by Quinn reading one when they were scheduled to meet at a cafe to learn more about each other.
Brody tends to put his guard up regarding his feelings, which was what he did when he first met Quinn. However, Brody is extremely supportive and will stay in the most difficult of situations; he stayed with Quinn throughout her entire cancer battle, despite the fact his sister died of cancer.
Quinn and Brody initially had animosity for each other when Artie paired them up for his class assignment. Brody assumed Quinn was stuck up and Quinn assumed Brody had no substance. Quinn later realizes Brody is reading a Nicholas Sparks novel, and it piques her interest, although Brody fails to see why Quinn is interested. Later on, Quinn has an anxiety attack during the filming of Artie's class assignment and Brody goes to check on her. Quinn tearfully admits she just wants someone to love her, and Brody decides to take her to Callbacks to show her a fun time.
Eventually, Quinn and Brody warm up to each other and Brody admits his sister had passed away from cancer. Quinn becomes touched Brody trusted her with that information, and they get closer, eventually starting a relationship.
In Season Five, Quinn is diagnosed with cancer and she's initially worried that Brody will become upset with the thought of losing Quinn. But Brody sticks by Quinn and after she's in remission, Brody proposes to Quinn.
While initially hesitant, Quinn accepts Brody's proposal, and the two of them marry during the five-year time jump in Season Six. Did a new dealer take over? Hard to tell. Soon after Kurt went to New York, Blaine cheated on him and the two ended up breaking up.
By Season 5, Blaine was planning to propose to Kurt. But what happened to the cheating? They moved past it like it never happened. There have been a couple of cheating cases in Glee but they were always explored in detail.

Vocal Adrenaline director Dustin Goolsby took advantage of her rivalry with Rachel and got a green card for her so that she could compete for his side. When Sunshine learned that Dustin had given a bribe to get the green card, she decided to go back to the Philippines but a remorseful Rachel convinced her to stay and compete.
Despite choosing to stay in America, Sunshine didn't entertain fans any further. In order to get some job experience, he applied for an internship position with Vogue Online. He got the internship and worked under Isabelle Wright. She took a liking to him due to his interest in fashion and became his mentor. Rachel is upset about Brody lying to her. Brody tells Rachel that she lied too, referring to her still loving Finn.
He told Rachel he knew what happened in the wedding. When Rachel asked if Santana told him about it, he said that no one had to tell him about it. He apologized for lying to Rachel and told her he meant everything else that he said to her. Rachel admitted she hasn't been completely honest to him and that part of her just wanted to make Finn jealous. As a result, they broke up. Then, they both sang Creep while crying.

Later, he sings How to Be a Heartbreaker while heading towards a woman sitting at a table. He begins to dance with her as he sings, looking at her intimately. Everyone in the area begins to dance in pairs, singing back-up for Brody. He pauses at the end of the chorus, as the music stops with him whispering, after a large sigh, "At least I think I do" , and the music continues as the partners dance away.
Brody is pushed into the elevator by the mystery woman, as if they are about to kiss. Brody and the woman proceed to dance intimately in the elevator. They soon reach their destiny, and all the pairs dancing along with Brody and the woman dance until they reach their personal rooms. Closing the blinds, they take off their clothes and Brody pushes the woman on the bed and reminds her that he only takes money, indicating they are going to have sex and therefore he is a gigolo.
Later at Kurt and Rachel's apartment, he is seen taking a shower while singing Closer. Santana takes this chance to steal his pager. As Brody teaches a class as the T. Brody sees her and tells the girls off, but Santana quickly shouts an offensive remark, to Brody's surprise.
Santana warns Brody that she is a hardcore friend of Rachel and Kurt and therefore, Brody should move out that night because she knows who he is. She then proceeds to perform Cold Hearted. As the performance progresses, Santana sings the lyrics directly at Brody who sits down, watching her.
Santana is able to pull off an impressive performance, but Brody isn't impressed at all, being told to 'pack his bags' as Santana leaves. On an escort call, Brody's shocked to discover that his latest client is actually Santana, who leaves him in the hotel room to be confronted by Finn. Finn demands that Brody disappear from Rachel's life immediately, but Brody claims that he loves her. Finn counters that Rachel doesn't even know who Brody is - yet.
The confrontation gets physical, and they trash the hotel room as they fight, with Finn who eventually won the fight and warning Brody to "stay away from his future wife. Later, Brody and Rachel finally reveal to each other their back stories Brody is a male prostitute and Rachel slept with Finn and was using Brody as the rebound , and so they finally admit that their relationship is over.
